Intranote

The integration automatically creates and maintains the school's users in Intranote. Intranote is a barcode / RFID based registration system that links all loans directly to the individual student to the library. The Intranote integration allows Intranote to retrieve data from the UMS web server

What to have ready

An opened firewall directly into the UMS. Typically port 80 or 443

Installation

In order for Intranote to retrieve data from UMS, use the web service username and password that can be found here Settings -> Web services

Enter a username and a password. Must be at least 16 characters. This screen defines the username and password used for all UMS web services. If this changes, all systems retrieving from UMS Web Services will be updated.

All communication will run through the url "http://<URL>/WebServicesAnonymous/Intranote.asmx"

Template Setting

Create a Intranote setting than will be attached to a template. Intranote can only retrieve data from the templates that have an option attached.

UMS will generate a department code when pressing Generate. department code must be used in Intranote to retrieve data.
