==Update certificate==
===Step one- creating a certificate.pem file===Make sure you have the certificate as a . crt or .pem file. You should have received a certificate with a private keyfrom your provider. Some providers send 2 two or more files contain containing this. To handle the certificate, we need to extra extract the information from the certificate and private key and combine these two into one certificate.
If you use notepad to open the certificate(recommended), you should will see something like this:
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
Lots of data here...
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
When you open the private key certificate it , you should look some what similar to see this.:
-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
Lots of data here...
-----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
Or something like this:
-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----
Lots of data here...
-----END PRIVATE KEY-----
Now create Start by creating a new .txt file in a folder, and then copy the content of the private key into the new .txt file.
After that Now, open the certificate file and , copy the content and paste it in after the private key.
Your file should look something like this:
-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----
MIIEvQIBAD...
MIICsjCCAZqgAw...
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
Now save Save the file by selecting all files file types instead of .txt and name the file 'certificate.pem'.
===Steep Step two - installation===To install the certificate, you will need FTP software, (you can freely select any of thesethe FTP software you prefer).
After that Now, connect to the foxbox Foxbox using the server's IP address of the server. I’m using This example uses 'FileZilla for this example'.[[File:Filezilla_foxbox_update_certificate.jpg|none|thumb|839x839px]]
[[File:Filezilla_foxbox_update_certificate.jpg|1186x1186px]]
When the client has connected, and you get will have the folder view, where you can navigate to '/etc/sms/scripts, this '. You can be done but using use the folder view to navigate back and into to the path or you can simple simply paste the path into the remote site bar and press enter.
Now , you should be able to locate the certificate.pem file inside the folder to verify you’re at the correct path.
Now navigate Continue by navigating the local file view to the new certificate that we created inside in step 1 and upload it to the foxboxFoxbox.
===Steep three===
Now open Open or download the SSH client program, i’m using . This example uses 'putty for this example'.
When you have the ssh client openedopen, please connect using the Foxbox server's IP address of the foxbox server.
When you are successfully connected , please use the root user to login , as it’s it is the only user with permissions to restart the apache server.
To In order to restart the apache server enter, please type:
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
And press Press enter.
When the service is restarted successfully, there should 'OK' will appear a in green text with . If the text OKservice was unsuccessful, if unsuccessful the text error message will be written appear in red contain the error messagetext.
Now go After successfully restarting, open the Foxbox url of the foxbox and verify that the certificate has been changed and is valid.
